She is a member of the British Royal Family and the youngest daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York. Princess Eugenie is ninth in the line of succession to the British throne, following her sister, Princess Beatrice of York.

Early Background Princess Eugenie was born in London, at the Portland Hospital for women and children on 23 March, 1990 and she is the second child of Prince Andrew, Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, the sixth granddchild of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh. She has been the first royal baby to have a public christening and the only one of the Queen's grandchildren not to be baptized in the Lily Font. The Lily font is a large silver-gilt baptismal font used at the baptismal services of members of the British Royal Family. The Lily Font is part of the Royal Collection and is safeguarded at the Jewel House at the Tower of London. Instead, Princess Eugenie was baptised by the bishop of Norwich at St. Mary Magdalene Church, Sandringham. She was named after Victoria Eugenie of Batterberg and after Princess Helene, Queen Victoria's granddaughter and daughter respectively.
EDUCATION Princess Eugenie assumed her schooling at Winkfield Montessori from 1992 to 1993. Thereon she entered Upton House School in Windsor, joining her sister Beatrice until the year 1995. Eugenie attended Coworth Park School from 1995-2001 and thereafter St. George's School near Windsor Castle until 2003. For the subsequent five years, Princess Eugenie boarded at Marlborough College in Wiltshire. Princess Eugenie studied Art History, English Literature and Politics at Newcastle University in September 2009.

ROYAL WEDDING Princess Eugenie's wedding to her long-lasting fiance, Jack Brooksband took place on 12 October 2018 at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in the United Kingdom. The royal groom is a British wine merchant, brand ambassador of Casamigos Tequilla, the company co-founded by George Clooney, and socialite. Jack Brooksband is related to the Brooksband baronets, a title in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom, created on 15 September 1919 for Edward Brooksband. Brooksband's parents are Old Etonian. His father, George Brooksband is a company director and chartered accountant and his wife, Nicola (nee Newton). Jack also has a younger brother, named Thomas, also an Old Etonian. The couple have been dating for seven years and they were originally introduced by friends in a ski break in Verbier, Switzerlan, where Brooksbank was working at the time.

British-based designer Erdem is the bookmakers' favourite to design Eugenie's wedding dress. Suzannah is also among the bookmakers' favourite choices. Wedding party On 10 October 2018, Buckingham Palace confirmed that Eugenie had picked her sister, Princess Beatrice of York, as maid of honour after having previously announced it in a Vogue interview in August. It was confirmed that Thomas Brooksbank, brother of the groom, would be his best man, and that the bridesmaids and page boys would all be children. A total of six bridesmaids and two page boys were chosen: Eugenie's godchild, Maud Windsor, daughter of Lord and Lady Frederick Windsor, her cousin Peter Phillips' daughters Isla and Savannah Phillips, her cousin Zara Tindall's eldest daughter Mia Tindall, her cousin the Duke of Cambridge's eldest children Prince George and Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, as well as Theodora Williams, daughter of Ayda Field and Robbie Williams, and Louis de Givenchy, son of Olivier and Zoe de Givenchy. Eugenie's cousins Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn, were also confirmed to be special attendants. Members of the Nijmegen Company Grenadier Guards, of which the Duke of York is Colonel, will line the West Steps of the chapel as the couple depart for their carriage procession. Wedding service On 14 September 2018, the palace announced that the ceremony will occur at 11:00 am. Members of the Royal Family will start to arrive at the chapel at 10:25 am. The Queen will be the last member of the Royal Family to depart for the ceremony, as is tradition, arriving at the chapel at 11.52 am. Shortly after, the bride will arrive and proceed down the aisle escorted by her father. He will accompany her through the Nave to the Organ Screen, where the groom and the best man will be standing. After the introduction is read by the Dean of Windsor, the couple along with the best man and the bride's father will be led through the Quire Gates and into the Quire of the Chapel. The marriage vows are those published in Common Worship, and include the promise to "to love and to cherish" each other. This was sealed by putting a ring on the fourth finger of bride's left hand. After the signing of the registers, Eugenie and Brooksband together with the guests sang the national anthem. They will be followed in procession by other members of the bridal party, and their families. After her wedding Princess Eugenie will keep her Royal title but will drop the designation "of York". She will have the option of taking her husband's last name and will officially be styled, "HRH Princess Eugenie, Mrs Jack Brooksbank".
